Guyton's "printer drawings" consist of illustrated pages torn out of exhibition catalogues, monographs and architecture books. With the help of a standard ink printer, Guyton then adds geometric shapes to the original plates which do not relate to the illustration in any ostensible way. One shows a Suprematist composition superimposed over an abstract biomorphic sculpture, another a perforated rectangle over a Dada poster, and in another, flames crawl over reproductions of paintings. This monograph / artist's book designed by Joseph Logan and published in conjunction with an exhibition in Lyon, present three series of works. La Salle de Bains, 2006.
